* Cylinder capacities are listed at 5,000 psi maximum operating pressure, with a short arm installed. Minimum operating pressure of 500 psi is required for double acting applications. The clamping force is adjustable by varying the hydraulic system pressure to determine the approximate clamping force for your application, see IS1776.
** To allow for piece part height variations, it is recommended that the vertical travel be set at about 50% of the vertical stroke.
*** To ensure maximum service life and trouble-free operation, restrict fluid flow to the above flow ratings. If you are unable to measure flow rates, adjust flow so that the clamping action occurs in no less than half a second. If using extended arm either quarter the above flow rates, or time clamping action to be no less than two seconds.
