VersaCam Swing Clamps deliver smooth, precise clamping action for high-performance fixturing applications. Designed around a robust ball-and-cam mechanism, these clamps provide consistent 90° swing motion—with optional custom angles—and offer repeatable arm positioning up to ±0.5°, ensuring dependable performance across repeated cycles. Ideal for applications requiring fast, unobstructed part loading, VersaCam enhances both speed and accuracy in your production workflow.
Engineered for durability, VersaCam clamps are built to withstand tough shop conditions. The cylinder body is treated with Vektek’s proprietary BHC™ (Black Hard Coating) for superior resistance to wear, scoring, and corrosion. Internals, including the cam and plunger, are machined from hardened chrome alloy steel to resist edge-loading and high mechanical stress. Protective features like specialized wipers and a swept-line cylinder top help prevent chip and coolant contamination, further extending service life.
VersaCam Swing Clamps are also designed for versatility. Multiple mounting options—including threaded body, top flange, bottom flange, and cartridge styles—make integration into new or existing fixtures simple. Available in capacities from 450 lb to 5,000 lb at 5,000 psi, the clamps support a wide range of machining operations. Designers can fine-tune motion using optional swing angle restrictors (30°, 45°, 60°) and arm clocking features, enabling precise clamp positioning and faster fixture setup.
